We want the Software Inklings to be a real, authentic thriving online and in-person community where writers in software make connections that matter.
As we are quite a young community (we were only founded in December 2024!) we have some big plans for the types of events and activities for the community, and for now we have the ones mentioned below…
Weekly Inkling Campfires
We have now begun our weekly social gathering on Zoom, taking place every Monday at 18:30 till 19:00 UK time.
Attendance is always completely optional; come and go and use this as a supportive place to discuss your writing as and when you want and have the opportunity. To get a regular calendar invite please DM Russ on LinkedIn .
Book Club
As writers we tend to read quite a bit. This is why one of the first regular activities we’ve kicked off is a Software Inklings Book Club.
The Book Club meets virtually every 2 months, to give folks a chance to acquire and read the planned books and chapters as well as for new members of the club to catch up.
